Linda Kay Felton

Linda Felton, beloved wife of Robert and loving mother of Kurt and Brent passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024 after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Born to Daniel Schmit and Mary (Wedig) Schmit on November 2, 1952.
She attended St. Patrick's Catholic School and graduated from Parker Sr. High School. She went on to attend Janesville Academy of Beauty. She worked as a beautician at Petite Rainbow Salon. She and Bob were married at St. Patrick's in July 1980. She and Bob eventually relocated to Bolingbrook, IL where they raised their sons.

Linda is survived by Bob, Kurt and Brent of Bolingbrook, IL, brothers and sister Marie Leyden, Dennis (Kathy) Schmit, Randy (Debbie) Schmit, Terry Schmit and Rusty Schmit. She is also survived by her brother in law and sister in law Bill and Polly Felton. She is also survived by nieces and nephews Pam and Lisa, Gary, Julie, Denise, Tim, Teresa, Ben, Zack, Chelsey and Lindsey.

She was predeceased by her parents, Jerry Schmit (Brother) and nephew Nick Felton.

Linda enjoyed keeping a beautiful home, loved shopping and spending time with family and friends.

Linda was a beautiful person and will be missed by all.

A funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church at 11 AM on Saturday, February 10, 2024 with a luncheon at 1 PM to follow at Apfel-Wolfe Funeral Home, located on 21 S. Austin Road in Janesville, Wisconsin 53548, who is assisting the family.
