Linda M. McManus of Bolingbrook, IL passed away peacefully on June 8, 2026. Linda was born on April 27, 1955 to Neal and Beverly Nealis (Deturi) who preceded her in death. Linda’s early years shaped the humor, kindness and love she carried through life. Linda built her life centered around her family, friends and her loving dogs. Her legacy will continue in the lives of all who loved her. Dear Sister to Thomas (Karen) Nealis, Neal (Randee) Nealis, Jr. and Richard (Kathy) Nealis. A Loving Mother who was preceded in death to her son Johnathan (Holly) Edwards. She is survived by her two daughters, Heather (Joseph) Gregar and Ashley (Alex) Linko. Dearest Grandmother of Katheryn Edwards, Layne Edwards, Johnathan Edwards, Alexandra (Lexi) Gregar, Angelina Gregar, Callahan Linko, Charleston Linko and Coraline Linko. Fond Cousin and Aunt of many nieces and nephews. A great friend to all who knew and loved her. Linda graduated with honors from Loyola University with her Bachelors of Science degree. For many years she worked as a dental hygienist alongside Dr. Bob and Tina Malenius. Linda loved her work family and made many life long friendships there. She often filled her summer days with gardening, caring for her beautiful flowers and making best friends with all of her neighbors. We will all miss her delicious Christmas cookies!
