Lois S. Anderson (nee Sheedy), age 80, passed away on July 8, 2025. Lois was born in Chicago, Illinois to the late Eva (nee Tomsic) and the late Peter Sheedy. She was the beloved wife of the late James K Anderson Sr., loving mother of James (Traci) Anderson, Jeffery Anderson, Annemarie (Rich) Armbrust, Candice (Scott) Miara, proud grandmother (Nana) of Pete, Connor, Garrett, Katelyn, Emily, Nikki, Josh, Megan, Carson, Brooke, endearing great grandmother Lucas, dear sister to the late Margaret (the late Frank) Nadherny, to the late Evelyn (the late John) O'Gara, Peter (Lucy) Sheedy and the late Patricia (the late Ronald) Velesovsky, beloved Auntie Lois to many nieces and nephews, cousin and friend to many, and missed by all.

Lois' visitation will take place on Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., located at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home & Crematorium, 530 West Boughton Road, Bolingbrook, Illinois 60440. Her funeral mass will take place the following day, Friday, July 11, 2025, beginning at 11:00 a.m., located at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 440 East Briarcliff Road, Bolingbrook, Illinois 60440. Her burial will then conclude her funeral services at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 1400 South Wolf Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162.
