With deep sadness we announce that Michael John Wynns, 77, of Bolingbrook, IL has passed away on December 16, 2024.

Born on December 25,1946 in Patuxent River, Maryland, he grew up in Southwick, MA, served as a proud member and medic of the US Navy and was a loving family member and friend to so many.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Lydia Wynns; his children, Christie (Alex) Wynns, Tracie (Terry) Sopoci, and Jason (Kelly) Wynns; 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; and his sister Ramona Mahoney of Westfield, MA.

He is preceded in death by his parents L.C. and Dorothy Wynns and his brother Gregory Wynns.

A memorial visitation for Michael will be held on Saturday, December 28th at 10:00 AM with Military Honors at 11:30 AM and memorial service following at New Life Lutheran Church located on 249 N Bolingbrook Dr. Bolingbrook, IL 60440.
