Nancy Lou Clark Hansen was the beloved mother of Nancy Marie Hansen (and many surrogate children), cherished daughter of Joseph Francis Clark & Lulu Marie Tinsler Clark, graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University, junior high teacher, advertising for Rantoul Press & Daily Illini, owner of (Chicago tour company) Whirl Wind Tours, advertising manager (fine arts gallery) of Hinshaw & Richard, manager of the Quarter Deck Lounge in Bolingbrook, graduate of the Bolingbrook Citizen’s Police Academy, Stephen Minister with Friendship United Methodist Church, and a Bolingbrook Commissioner (of the fine Art’s).

Her Passion was her professions!

Her Light, her wisdom, smile and sense of humor will be sorely missed!

Nancy's wake will take place on Thursday, July 30, 2026, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., located at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 530 West Boughton Road, Bolingbrook, Illinois 60440. Family and friends will gather the following day, Friday, July 31, 2026, at Friendship United Methodist Church, 305 East Boughton Road, Bolingbrook, Illinois 60440, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Her funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. We will then proceed to pass the family houses for Nancy's burial at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery, 17w201 Roosevelt Road, Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois 60181. A special butterfly release will conclude her beautiful celebration of life. Funeral luncheon to follow her funeral services. Details to be later announced.
