Norman W. Lathrop was the beloved ex-husband to Roberta Chudy-Lathrop, cherished son of the late Nathan and the late Dorothy Lathrop, proud father of Larry (Kathy) and the late Mike (Lynette), loving grandfather of Matthew, Bryan, Peter (Megan), Mindy (Peter) Dominick, Katie (Brian) Burns, and Dan (Stephanie), dearest great-grandfather of 16, dear brother of the late Deanna Lathrop-Drury, fond uncle of many nieces and nephews, cousin and friend to many, and missed by all.

Norman proudly taught for over 30 hears at Hinsdale Jr. High School. He proudly fostered for years and gave his efforts towards this noble cause. He has worked with countless students over the decades where his impact will be felt for years to come. Also, Norman traveled extensively in the western U.S. He also supported numerous charities over the years, but family was the most important thing in his life.
