It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Oldrich Fisera, age 84, on December 31, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, Oldrich's warm heart and steadfast love for his family were the cornerstones of his life.
Born on July 16, 1940, Oldrich spent his early years in Brookfield, Illinois, and later built a life filled with love and laughter in Bolingbrook, IL. He was a man of quiet strength and unwavering dedication, deeply committed to his family and to the many friendships he cultivated over the years.
Oldrich is predeceased by his beloved wife of 69 years, Jean Fisera. Together, they raised three children who will forever carry his legacy: Jeffrey Fisera (deceased) Tiffani Fisera, and Jenell Jordan. He was also the proud and adoring grandfather to Brian Fisera, Robert Jordan, Morgan Jordan, Liberty-Rei Jordan, and Luci Jordan. His love for his grandchildren was immeasurable, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
A lover of adventure, Oldrich found immense joy in family trips, especially those to Disney, where countless memories were made. His infectious laughter and sense of wonder brought joy to all around him, making these trips cherished times for his loved ones.
In addition to his family, Oldrich's life was made complete by his two loyal dogs, Prince Paisley and Indy, who were constant companions and sources of comfort to him.
Oldrich was known for his kindness, integrity, and the way he always made those around him feel valued and loved. His passing leaves a void that will never be filled, but his legacy will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday January 7, 6pm at the Bolingbrook Portillo's.
Oldrich's memory will remain a guiding light for his family, whose love for him will endure beyond words.
