Olida Valentin or "Valentine" as she would like to say in English was a
beloved great-grandmother, grandmother, mother during her incredible 88
years of life. She passed away peacefully to be with the Lord the morning
of, Saturday November 12, 2022.

We will remember Olida for her playful sense of humor and endearing
stubbornness. She was predeceased by her parents Juan and Margot Jusino, her
brother Jule and Johnny, and sisters Gladys, Felina, Rosalina and her
beloved son Adrian and grandson Adrian Jr. She is survived by her siblings
Angelo and Eva Jusino as well as her daughter-in-law Lucy and daughter
Irasema and son-in-law Willy and their children: Delia, Carlos, Brittany,
Willy III and their children Jonathan, Aliya, Luke, Liam, Valentina and
Levi.

Olida was born on April 15, 1934 in Yauco, Puerto Rico and moved to
Chicago, IL at age (19). A daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and
friend to many. Olida's love language was cooking, she was known for making
traditional Puerto Rican dishes filled with flavor and love. She also loved
to play games such as Bingo and crossword puzzles; her favorite spot was to
sit by her window overlooking Wicker Park through the seasons. We will miss
Olida dearly, but we are so grateful for the time we had to spend with her.
We will always have her memory in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers we are setting up the Olida Valentin Memorial Mother
Fund where we will send support to a single mother in need, to honor Olida's

Christian Fellowship Church, 7000 West Belmont Ave Chicago, IL 60634.
