OLIVIA PATE (nee Perez)

Olivia Pate, 62, of Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 30th, 2023, at her home in Atlanta, GA, after a courageous battle with cancer. Olivia was the beloved daughter of the late Agustin and Henrietta Perez, devoted wife of Billy Pate for 33 years, cherished sister of Al Perez (late Carol), the late Monica Anderson (Jerry), Rosie Martinez (Tony), Angeline Sanchez (Armando), Imelda "Mella" Hourihan (Tom), Fernando Perez (Diane), Laura Perez (Guillermo), Agustin Perez, Jr. (late Margaret), David Perez (Maria), Arthur Perez (Carol), the late Roger Perez, and Christina Wytiaz (Dale). Olivia was also the loving aunt of 24 nephews and nieces, endearing stepmother of Jennifer Neyland (Wade), and loving grandmother to their 3 children.

Olivia will forever be remembered for her passion for life, love and devotion to her family, unconditional selflessness, overwhelming generosity, contagious smile, natural beauty, and unwavering faith in Our Lord, Jesus Christ. She was an active member of St. Jude Roman Catholic Church, Sandy Springs, GA. Professionally, Olivia will be remembered as a highly motivated, energetic, and successful businesswoman.

Friends and family will be received Thursday, February 16th from 4 – 8pm at McCauley Sullivan Funeral Home, 530 West Boughton Road, Bolingbrook, IL. Funeral Mass will be at 11:00am on Friday, February 17th at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 440 E. Briarcliff Road, Bolingbrook, IL. Final resting place will be Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside, IL at a later date.
