In Loving Memory of Padmini Pallasseri

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Padmini Pallasseri, who left us peacefully on September 28, 2026 surrounded by her children.

Padmini was born in a small village in Kerala, India. Orphaned at a young age, she was blessed with the love and kindness of her uncle and aunt, who welcomed her into their large family. As the eldest of eight children, she grew up caring for and nurturing her younger brothers and sister. From an early age, caring for others became an important part of who she was and ultimately led her to a fulfilling career in nursing—a profession she deeply enjoyed and was immensely proud of.

With remarkable grit, determination, and hard work, Padmini moved to the United States with the hope of creating better opportunities and a brighter future for her children. Through her strength and perseverance, she helped pave the way for their education and careers. Along the way, she built many lifelong friendships through her nursing career, and those who knew and worked with her will remember her with great affection.

Padmini shared a long and loving marriage with Sri. Veerappan. She was a devoted mother to her three children, a loving mother-in-law to her two sons-in-law and daughter-in-law, and a cherished grandmother to her four grandchildren.

Family was at the heart of Padmini’s life. She found immense joy in cooking for her family and friends, bringing people together through food, kindness and love. Above all, spending time with her grandchildren—her beloved “grand babies”—was one of her greatest sources of happiness.

Padmini’s life was a testament to strength, perseverance, generosity, and love. She was an inspiration to many and a source of comfort and warmth to those fortunate enough to know her. To those closest to her, she will forever be remembered as a tiny bundle of energy—loving, caring, gentle, and always ready to help—whose presence made our lives sweeter, brighter, and easier.

Though she is no longer with us, the love she gave, the lives she touched, and the memories she created will remain in our hearts forever. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

The family is kindly requesting guests to wear traditional white clothing for her funeral services. However, please feel free to wear other options if you do not possess white clothing.
