Patricia Irene Collins, 82, passed away the morning of October 26, 2024, in Bolingbrook, IL.
Born on October 18, 1942 in Covington, VA, Patricia was known for her loving, generous nature, and her strong-willed, direct approach to life.

Patricia dedicated many years of service as a Supervisor at the United States Postal Service, where she retired. In her spare time, she found enjoyment in reading and staying informed on current events in the media.

She is survived by her daughter, Adrienne Martin (Danny) of Naperville, IL; son, Robert Collins, Jr. (Bettina) of Poinciana, FL; step-daughters, Monica Reeves of South Elgin, IL, and Robin Speaks of Park Forest, IL; sisters, Doris Banks (Walker), and Rose Mary Wilson; grandchildren, Robert "Bobby", Angela, Daniel, Noah, Christopher, Victoria, Corey, Chandler, Codey, Nathan, and Nickolaus; and a host of great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Winston Blakey, and siblings, Barbara Royston, Randolph Blakey, and Paul Blakey.

Services to honor Patricia's life will be held at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 503 W. Boughton Rd, Bolingbrook, IL. A wake will be held on Friday, November 1st from 4 pm to 8 pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday, November 2nd from 9 am to 10 am, followed by the service from 10 am to 11 am. Internment will take place directly after the service at 12 pm at Hillcrest Cemetery located on 376 E Boughton Rd. Bolingbrook, IL 60440.

Patricia's life was marked by her unwavering dedication to her family and her career, enriched by her personal interests and the deep relationships she fostered throughout her lifetime. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
