Mrs. Patricia K. Gill, 79 of Chicago, IL. passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 2, 2022, at Providence Healthcare Center in Downers Grove, IL. Patricia was born June 23,1942 to the late Walter and Mabel Stancy of Chicago, IL. She married the late Eugene Gill on June 23, 1962, with whom she had a loving 58-year marriage. She had two loving sons, John (Kathy) Gill of Chicago, IL and Walter (Sue) Gill of Bolingbrook, IL and two amazing grandchildren Samantha and Zachary Gill. Pat was the cherished sister of the late Walter (Sandra) Stancy, David (the late Judi) Stancy, Edward Stancy and Christine (the late Ronald) Stafiej. Beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews, cousin & friend of many, and missed by all.

She often spoke fondly of her younger years working at Henrici's Bakery in downtown Chicago. She later loved to be referred to as a "domestic engineer." However, by many she was affectionately called "the candy lady" due to her chocolate making hobby. Pat was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to country music.
