Paul Joseph Walen, Jr., age 59, was the beloved husband of Petra (nee Knoth), cherished son of the late Paul J. Walen, Sr. and late Diane C. (nee Ficarelli) Walen, adored father and step-father of Christopher Walen, Steven Knoth, the late Tara and late Trevor Walen, the late Danielle Walen, late Kevin Kelly, loving grandfather of Ava, Zoey, Corwin, Christian, and Nicholas, dear brother of Mark (Lydia) and Lynda (John) Halama, fond uncle of Michael (Christina) Walen, Matthew (Cindy) Walen, and Julianna Walen, John J. (Krystle) Edwards, Bryan Edwards, and Richard Halama, nephew of Mary (late Gus) Mattera, and John (Mary Vin) Valene, friend to many, and missed by all.

Paul enjoyed teaching kids how to roller skate. He had a great demeanor when working with kids. Paul also was a proud mechanic and a machinist. He was described as a 'jack-of-all-trades' by his family. Paul also was the community's handyman. He would help anyone in the neighborhood with projects. Paul will be remembered by both his family and community.
