Paula is the beloved wife of Alex Berek; the cherished daughter of Noreene Carole Courtney (Tripicchio), Step-Father Harold Courtney, and Father Paul Crampton; the dear sister of Rhonda (Paul) Plumb and Renee (Richard) Araldi, and the fond aunt of Heather Locklear-Lighter, Mitchell Lieberstein, and Marissa Lieberstein.
Paula is preceded in death by her mother Noreene Carole Courtney (Tripicchio) and grandparents Michael and Madelon Tripicchio (Camboni).
Paula loved her family and friends with her whole heart. When you were loved by her you were blessed. She was a fierce and loyal protector of those she loved.
She had a great sense of humor and liked to make people laugh. She could light up a room with just her presence. Her laughter and smile were infectious, the kind you never forget and will live on forever in our memories.
Paula cared deeply for her animals and had such a soft spot for each one of them. Her Dogs; Sandy, Koda and Lola and her Cats; Frank, Bud and Gracie all brought her so much happiness, joy, and comfort over the years.
Paula and Alex enjoyed taking trips to Michigan and sitting out by the Lake. New Orleans also held a special place in her heart. Over the years they returned several times to enjoy the city she loved along with the jazz and blues music.
Paula was a proud member of the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians of Manistee, Michigan. She enjoyed visiting and spending time with her brothers (Crampton) while in Michigan.
Paula was spiritual and loved God. She was smart, kind, creative, artistic, fashionable, loved music and was never afraid to be herself. She was blessed with many friends.
Paula is and always will be a special light in our lives and will forever be missed. When she passed a piece of our hearts went with her. We will never be the same. We will keep her close to us and in our hearts with her stories and memories of her beautiful soul. She will be missed every day of our lives and is loved more than words could ever say.
Paula, we love you with all of our hearts.
