Randy Jardine, age 58, of Bolingbrook, IL, has passed away suddenly on Monday, February 6 th ,2023, surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his children Valerie and Tyler, mother Joyce (Steve), brothers Mike (Roberta) and Scott (Suzy), former wife Jennifer, nieces Amanda and Sydney, and nephews Travis, Scott, and Noah. He is also survived by his dog Jake.

Randy was preceded in death by father Leon, brother Sean, and nephew Michael.
Randy was born in Wurzburg, Germany on October 9 th , 1964, to Leon and Joyce. He grew up in Barstow, California, and went on to earn a BS in Construction Management from California State University at Chico in 1992. Post college, his first job utilizing his degree was with Robert E. Bayley Construction in Seattle WA as a project engineer. Since then, he has jumped around between construction companies, and was able to spend the last 12 years of his life working for Wight & Company as Director of Cost Management and Chief Estimator.

He will be lovingly remembered as a handy man, the life of the party, and a proud father to his kids. Randy loved building things around the house and with his son. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and was always able to lighten the room with his smile and laughter. He put 110% into everything he did, from work and play, to coaching his children's sports teams and showing up for their concerts. He did everything for his kids and will always be remembered as a kind and caring father, even to those who he was not blood related. Randy's home was open to all, and he made sure to make everyone feel welcome and loved. His heart was big, and he had so much love to share, down to the smallest of gestures. One of Randy's favorite ways to show this love was through food, and he was always experimenting with recipes in the kitchen, his
most popular being his pot roast and his homemade tacos. Our hearts are broken, and he will be missed greatly, but his legacy will live forever.

Visitation will be on Saturday, February 11 th , 2023, from 1pm-5pm (Eulogies and Randy's playlist 4:00pm) at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 530 W. Boughton Rd., Bolingbrook IL, 60440.
