Robert J. Barnhill (Bob), at 77 of Bolingbrook, IL., passed away Sunday, September 18, 2022, surrounded
by family.
Bob was a devoted and loving husband to Suzanne Barnhill for over 50 years, loving father to Abby and
Jim and adoring grandfather to the light of his life Cassidy. Bob was the Maintenance Supervisor of CXM
in Cicero but is best known for his love of animals and expert woodworking skills. Bob had a huge heart
and took care of his family and friends and will be dearly missed.
Bob was survived by son James Barnhill, daughter Abby (Kathy) Chavez; sister-in-law Betty Myszkowski,
brother-in-law Daniel (Judith) Quenzel; granddaughter Cassidy (D.J.) Hubert; nieces Ellen (Jim)
Myszkowski, Paty (Brett) Kelly, Amanda (Rick) Frantz and many extended family and friends.
Bob was preceded in death by loving wife Suzanne Barnhill; his parents Robert & Lucille Barnhill;
mother-in-law and father-in-law Erick & June Quenzel; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Mary & Gene
Zabinski; brother-in-law Leonard Myszkowski, sister and brother-in-law Norma & Sam Haggerty and
grandson's Ty, Noah and Jaxon Chavez.
To best honor Bob's final wishes there will be a small private memorial.
