Robert Matthew Dominiak was the beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Schulz), cherished son of the late Matthew and the late Elsie, loving father of Richard (Mike), Doug (Stacy Fischer), and Steve (Katrin), proud grandpa of Colin, Cooper, Carter, Chloe, and Clara, dear brother to Dennis (Linda), brother-in-law to the late Don (Jill), David (Mary), Doug (Doreen), and the late Dean (Debbie), and fond uncle to several nieces and nephews.

Robert was an avid Chicago Bears fan; being a season ticket holder since 1971. Bear down! He also enjoyed his hobbies to the fullest. He enjoyed doing puzzles. Also, he proudly saved and collected a variety of stamps throughout the years. As a mechanical engineer, he took great pride and loved creating Happy Meal toys for McDonald's. He'd often save the toys or molds when they would come out at the neighborhood Golden Arches. Finally, Robert was a leader for over 30 years in the Boy Scouts of America. By his family and friends, he will be wholeheartedly missed.

The memorial visitation will take place on Friday, January 5, 2024, at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 530 West Boughton Road, Bolingbrook, Illinois 60440, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. The funeral service begins at 4:00 p.m. The family would like to cordially invite attendees to a memorial dinner following the services at Ashbury's at Boughton Ridge, 335 East Boughton Road, Bolingbrook, Illinois 60440. Interment private.
