Robinson Segovia was born from the late Luis and Mary Segovia and raised by Juan and Susana Grimaldo, loving brother of Luis (Lulene), Michelle (Rolando) Segovia-Ibarra, Rudy Grimaldo, and Gabriel Grimaldo, caring uncle of Micah Segovia, Alexus, Rolando, Jr., Luis, Marcelo Ibarra, and Ciara, Savana, Daniele, Aiden, and Cole Baza, friend and cousin to many, and missed by all.

Robinson was known as an avid Chicago Bears and White Sox fan, a true South-sider. He loved cheering them on every Sunday during the football season as well as the summers. He loved professional wrestling; a huge WWE fan. The 'squared circle' was a second home to him as he watched his favorite wrestlers over the years. Robinson was known to be a classy dresser, very meticulous on his outfits, especially Tommy Hilfiger. His work ethic was unparallel when compared to most people. In his 15 years downtown as a Security Manager, he only missed 6 days. That dependability permeated to his family as well. Robinson loved his family so much. He was always ecstatic when spending time with his nephews and nieces; an extremely proud uncle. He also served as a caregiver to his mother over the years at their house in Chicago. From BBQ's to fireworks or just throwing some carne asada on the grill, Robinson wanted to be surrounded by the people he loved. He will be sorely missed.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, October 6, 2022, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., located at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 530 West Boughton Road, Bolingbrook, Illinois 60440. The Funeral Service will begin the next day, Friday, October 7, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Burial will conclude at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery.
