Romy Balcita, age 81, born November 25, 1942 in Santo Angel, San Pablo, Philippines
passed away December 24, 2023, after a courageous 7+ year battle with prostate cancer.
He was surrounded by loved ones during his last days and in his final seconds as
God called him home to his eternal rest.

Beloved husband of Tita Pagkalinawan Balcita.

Loving father of Trina (Erick) Ramos, Trista (Doug) Risley, and Rex Joseph 'R.J.' Balcita.
Proud Lolo of Ameliya, Tia, Aria, Ethan, and Evan, along with his beloved fur grandbabies
Leeloo, Hamilton, and Abel.

Dearest brother of Adelo (Vangie) & Celia Balcita, and the late Aurora, Manuel (Nora),
Oscar (Emilita), and Danilo (Josie).

Fond uncle of Francis (Eunice), Hazel (Omar), MaryAnn (Jose), Pamela,
Michael (Laarni), William, Lucky (Mommette), Grace, Irene (Marc),
JR (Tessa), Gene, Dale (Frances), Glen (Elizabeth), Danielle 'Nini', and Jessica 'Ining'.

Preceded by his parents, Graciano and Generosa Balcita.

Visitation will take place Thursday, December 28th and Friday, December 29th, 4:00pm-8:00pm at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home 530 W. Boughton Rd Bolingbrook, IL.
Funeral Saturday, December 30th, 9:45am at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home to St. Francis of Assisi Church, Mass 10:30am
Interment Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (Romeoville).
