Shantaram (Raam) Gaitonde, Age 80, of Glen Ellyn, IL Passed away peacefully surrounded by his Family on October 26, 2021.

He is survived by his Beloved Wife of 55 Years Anusuya (Tara) Gaitonde, Daughter Sangita, Son Dayal, Daughter-In-Law Meeta (née Patel) and 2 Beautiful Grandchildren Sohan and Sajni.

Raam was a Metallurgical Engineer who worked at Commonwealth Edison for 30 years and was an Avid Golfer (to say the least) who found time to travel all over the world with his wife Tara and the family and eat, joke and enjoy life to the best of his ability.

He will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation is Saturday October 30, 2021 from 10-12
