It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dr. Sheila (Trikha) Khanna, our beloved mother, who left us peacefully on December 12th, 2024.

A woman of boundless love, grace and strength, she was the heart and soul of our family. Sheila devoted her life to raising and nurturing her child, nieces and nephews, always putting their needs above her own. Her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering support were a constant source of comfort and inspiration to all who knew her.

Born on May 31st in Thika, Kenya, to Shyamlal Trikha and Bharati Bhardwaj, Sheila was known for her vibrant, extroverted nature and her ability to make everyone feel special. Her home was always a safe haven, where laughter, warmth, and love flourished. Whether offering guidance, love, or words of encouragement, she had an extraordinary way of leaving an indelible mark in many lives. She held steadfast and passionately engaged in all her convictions.

She was also a distinguished Rehabilitation Physician, where she touched the lives of many with her skill and generosity. Her legacy will live on in the values she instilled in her children: kindness, resilience, and the importance of family.

As a devoted wife, Sheila lovingly and tirelessly cared and advocated for her husband, especially during his final years when his health began to decline. Her caregiving was not just a role, but a testament to her boundless love and empathy for those she loved personally and professionally. Sheila is survived by her daughter, sisters, and loving family and friends who will carry forward her memory with love and gratitude.
