Lawrence County, Alabama Native Shirley B. Nitz of Bolingbrook, IL passed away on Friday, October 27th at the age of 87.

She was proceeded by her husband Raymond Nitz, her son Roger Fisher, Parents Olen and Mable Bradford, Sister Delilah Barger and Brother A.B. Bradford and wife Lorene. And her step-son David Nitz.

She was survived by Grandchildren Stephen Fisher & Dustin Fisher of Bolingbrook, Kaitlin Nitz, Christopher Nitz, John Shirley, Lindsey Latorre, Peter Nitz, Gregory Nitz and Elizabeth Nitz, Her Sister Joan Bradford Pugh of Muscle Shoals, Alabama(Jerry), Her Brother in-law Kenneth Barger of Eddyville, IL, Nieces and Nephews Sandra Zang of New Lenox, IL, Scott Barger of Eddyville IL, Jennifer Benson, Brent Harbin, Dr. Susan Bradford and Michael Bradford, Step Children Jeff Nitz(spouse Karen), Deirdre Shirley (John), Daughters in law Liz Nitz Uhlik(James) and Pat Nitz, and multiple precious great-grandchildren family and friends.

Visitation to celebrate Shirley's life will be held on Wednesday, November 8th, 2023 from 10 AM - 12 PM with a service at 12 PM. Burial will be taking place at Clarendon Hills Cemetery in Darien, IL at 2 PM.
