Sonja Marie Walker (nee Johnson), age 84, was the beloved wife of the late James "Jim" Walker, loving mother of Mark (Christine), Joy Walker, and Janice (Tony Pelletiere), cherished Grandma of Jake, Danielle (Michael) Prindle, Michael, Matthew, and Stephanie Perry, adored Great-Grandma of Emma, dear sister to June (Frank) Montei, Donald (Raelynn) Johnson, and Jim (Chris) Johnson, fond aunt of many nieces and nephews, cousin to many, and missed by all.
Sonja enjoyed gardening at home. She loved the outdoors, especially boating around in Spooner, Wisconsin. Her fondest memories resided with her husband, Jim. The two of them would sit by the lake, awaiting sunset, with their pup, "Candy" girl. Sonja's faith and spirituality were also paramount in her life. She was fully committed to her Lord, Jesus Christ. This translated throughout the rest of her life, specifically her commitment and love for her family. She loved cooking and taking care of them. She sacrificed so much for them and made sure they were always taken care of. Sonja was the true definition of selfless, never complained once. She will be dearly missed.
