Sunil Talwar, 73, died October 21, 2022, with his family by his side in Glendale Heights, Illinois. He was born June 4, 1949, in Amritsar, Punjab to Raj Kumar and Yogindra Vati Talwar.
He spent the last 7 years bravely battling Multiple System Atrophy (MSA) and remained a fighter until the end.
A memorial service will be held at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home & Crematorium in Bolingbrook, Illinois on October 23, 2022.
He graduated from Punjab University Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Drug Research in Chandigarh and relocated to the United States in 1976. He married the love of his life Neeta in 1978, They ultimately settled in Glendale Heights, Illinois, where they raised their three children Rishi, Kunal and Heena. Mr. Talwar was a Pharmacist at Bethany Hospital for more than 30 years and worked at various other Chicagoland hospitals during his esteemed career. He was tremendously dedicated to his work and was respected in his field.
His favorite thing to do was spend time with family and friends, and he never stopped smiling. He had a very active friend circle and spent time with them most weekends. He had a vibrant personality and loved dancing, playing cards, and old Bollywood movies. He was a tremendously dedicated father and husband and was a pillar in the lives of all three of his children.
Mr. Talwar is survived by his wife Neeta; his children Rishi, Kunal, and Heena; their spouses Reena and Rachna; his 4 grandchildren Aryssa, Lyla, Kayson and Emilene.
He was preceded in death by his parents Raj Kumar and Yogindra Vati Talwar.
