Susan Mae Hassell's Obituary
Susan Mae Hassell (née Polkow), age 83, passed away on March 15, 2026. Beloved wife of the Late David J. Hassell. Cherished daughter of William L. and June M. Polkow (née Pritchard). Loving mother of Daniel (Karen) and Stephen Hassell. Dearest grandmother of Alyssa, Matthew, and Benjamin. Dear sister- in-law of Linda Leland.
Susan was raised in Oak Park and later made her home in Woodridge, where she lovingly raised her family. She dedicated many years volunteering with the Woodridge Park District and also worked at Edgewood School in Woodridge. Susan will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home.
