Susan M. Matiasovsky of Bolingbrook, IL has passed away on September 21st at the age of 76.
Sue was an extraordinary wife, mom, sister, and most of all grandma.
The achievements of her four children brought joy to her heart. She lived to see her grandchildren smile. She attended every event that shaped their lives no matter how big or small, celebrating each one as if it was the biggest event in their lives.
Sue found great pleasure in the simple things like ladybugs, caring for her extensive gardens, watching the birds gather on her back deck feeders, angels, crafting and Wisconsin winters. Her passion for Christmas inspired her to turn her home into a winter wonderland, where all were welcome to gather, celebrate, and indulge in her delicious cooking and homemade pies. Her children and grandchildren will forever treasure her handcrafted, personalized Christmas ornaments.
Sue will continue to be cherished by her children; Andy (Jen) Matiasovsky, Katrina (Chuck) Trendle, Nicole (Brian) Ferguson, and Abbie Matiasovsky
Her grandchildren Marisa, Ryan, Madison, Trent, Luca, Nicholas, Tai, Cole, and Meadow
Her siblings and their spouses Luann, Mike (Anna), Jim (Lois), Kim (Nolan) Paul (Renee), Sandy (Curtis), Sherie, and Jeanine; sister-in-law Margaret ; numerous nieces and nephews.
In heaven Sue has reunited with her dear husband Robert Matiasovsky, grandson Brian K. Ferguson Jr., brother Tom Mucha, sister and brother-in-law Cindy (Tim) Robbins, Nephew Beau Mucha, Parents Leo and Diane Mucha and brother in law James Sager.
Sue's love of life and family was awe inspiring and will continue to live on in the many lives she touched.
A visitation for Susan will be held on Monday, September 30th from 11 AM - 1PM at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home & Crematorium located on 530 W. Boughton Rd in Bolingbrook, IL 60440 with the burial taking place at 2 PM at Hillcrest Cemetery located on 376 E. Boughton Rd. Bolingbrook, IL 60440.
