Mrs. Susan L. Schroeder, 66 of Bolingbrook, IL died March 13th, 2022 at University of Chicago Medical Center.
Susie was born September 20th, 1955 to Ray and Lois Hendricks of Galesburg, IL. She married Christopher Schroeder on June 25th, 1977. She was preceded in death by her father. Susie is survived by her loving husband, Chris, and her beloved mother Lois of Galesburg, IL. She had two beautiful daughters, Sara (Larry) of Morris, IL and Erin (Dan) of North Aurora, IL and four amazing grandchildren Kyle (Kykie), Ryan (Ry Ry) and Brianna (Bri Bri) Little and Gavin (Little Buddy) Emerson. Susie was the cherished sister of Patty Hendricks of Nashville, TN and two brothers, Andy (Tammy) Hendricks and Tom (Paula) Hendricks of Galesburg, IL and niece to her Uncle Jerry (Barbara) Hendricks and cousin to Keith (Catherine) Hendricks and Tonia (Eric) Harbour. Susie is also survived by her mother-in-law Janet Schroeder and two brother-in-law's Dennis (Julie) Schroeder and Doug Schroeder and multiple nieces and nephews.
Susie graduated from Galesburg High School in 1973 and then from Lutheran Hospital of Nursing in 1975. Susie dedicated 40 years of her life to nursing and retired in 2015 after 27 years at Edward Hospital Cancer Center in Naperville, IL.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 19th 11:00am – 2:00pm (Service 1:00pm) at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home at 530 W. Boughton Road, Bolingbrook, IL 60440. Interment Private.
