Wilfredo "Fred" VeraCruz Semilla
December 5, 1933 - January 27, 2025

Wilfredo "Fred" VeraCruz Semilla, age 91, peacefully passed away on January 27, 2025 surrounded by his family.

Fred was the beloved husband to Eladia "Ledy" Semilla (deceased), loving father of Joy Cruz (Nesty), Grace Abad (Dexter) and dearest "Lolo" of Kevin Cruz (Jenna), Kirby Cruz (Sara), Erin Abad (Nathan), Gabriel Abad, Isabel Abad and "great grand Lolo" of Camilla Moon Cruz. Fred was the fond uncle of many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Fred is survived by 3 siblings, Lilia Dube, Zenaida Canatoy and Dan Semilla. He was predeceased by his parents Valentin and Generosa Semilla.

"Lolo" Fred will be dearly missed, remembered always and forever loved.

Visitation Saturday, February 1, 2025 from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home 530 W. Boughton Rd. Bolingbrook, IL. 60440.
