Bill Dore, beloved husband, brother, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 2nd at the age of 81. He was born January 22nd, 1943 to James and Alice Dore (nee Lindstrom) (both deceased) and was a brother to Rev. Lawrence Patrick Dore, O.S.A (deceased) and Elizabeth Stack (nee Dore).
Bill was a devoted and loving husband to Marge (nee Vejsada) with whom he shared 46 years of marriage. He loved his family beyond measure and was very supportive of his children and the lives they have built: David and Elizabeth Dore (nee Marriott), and their children, Braiden, Gavin, Keegan, Barrett and Julia; Bridgette (nee Dore) and Dan Berger and their children, Lillian, Eric and Blake; and Amanda Dore. He was also a devoted and loving brother to his sister, Elizabeth Stack (nee Dore) and brother in law, Jim Stack (deceased). One of his favorite things in life was being surrounded by people he loved, which included numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, other family and friends.
Bill was a devout Catholic and his faith was of utmost importance to him. He shared this faith daily with all those around him and was an avid supporter of St. Francis of Assisi Parish and also of many other Catholic organizations and charities.
A visitation for Bill will be held on Tuesday, August 6th from 3 - 7 PM at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral Home located on 530 W. Boughton Rd. Bolingbrook, IL 60440. A short service beginning at 9:00 AM will be held at McCauley-Sullivan Funeral home the following morning, August 7th, followed by a funeral mass at 10:30 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church located on 1501 W. Boughton Rd. Bolingbrook, IL 60490.
Interment private.
